Berlin Village Inn opened in 1985 as the first hotel in Berlin, Ohio. Four decades later it is still a 22-room inn where guests come back year after year, and where the staff often knows them by name.

We are on State Route 39 on the west edge of Berlin, in the heart of Holmes County and the world's largest Amish community. Downtown Berlin's quilt, craft and furniture shops, bulk food stores and restaurants are a few minutes away, and the villages of Charm, Mt. Hope, Walnut Creek and Sugarcreek are a short drive away.

Clean rooms are what we are known for. Every room was renovated in 2022. They are simple and comfortable: good beds with crisp white linens, a flat-screen TV, a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and free Wi-Fi.

Around the property

  • Free parking at your door
  • Guest deck with seating
  • Minutes from downtown Berlin
  • Two floors, no elevator

Right behind the inn, Radiant Shine Wash has a car wash, laundromat and pet wash, plus vending and an ATM.
